WebFeb 26, 2015 · R888 tires are not as sticky as drag radials are. The Nitto NT05-R is your best choice, in factory 345/30-19 size. They aren't as sticky as the Mickey Thompson 18s, but they are good for up to 800 rwhp or so. They also don't need much of a burnout, so they last longer than the Mickeys. Tony www.DV8motoring.com
WebFeb 16, 2024 · The R888R's are about the same for dry traction as the NT555R drag radials. Both tires have a 100 AA A rating, but the Toyos have a Y rating = 186+ mph. The sidewall on the R888R is a little stiffer than the NT555R, which gives you a little better handling, but also a little stiffer ride. The only negative I have experienced is the road noise. I’ve mainly narrowed my search down to either a Toyo R888r or a Bridgestone Potenza Re-71r on my 20x9.5 Hyperblack Roush wheels. The grip potential of the R888r intrigues me but I’d rather not swap these out every 6k-8k miles.

When someone loses control for whatever reason the tires are so flexible they can actually dismount from the rims. Don't need any more detail on that. methods robloxWebDec 17, 2024 · The Nitto NT01 and Toyo R888 are pretty notorious for being noisy. It's the tradeoff for those tires I think. Me personally, for everyday street driving I'll use a 555R 305 drag radial on the rear and my Pirelli r compounds on the front.
