EDIT: Even the good things about the game are medicore but appear above average because the rest of the game is a mess.

Elden ring definitely brought out a lot more mainstream players due to its popularity compared to dark souls, I once saw a post of a guy asking why there isn’t gamemodes in elden ring. Pretty wild.

WebMay 2, 2024 · Chance Hale. 2 is a far more ambitious and interesting game despite being bloated with too many humanoid bosses. 3 just slammed areas and references from the first game everywhere into a more linear package. Gutted build variety and the magic system too. Outside of the presentation it was a very disappointing, soulless and pared back game.
